Employer Branding & Engagement Specialist

About the Role

 We’re seeking a creative Employer Branding & Engagement Specialist who can transform company celebrations into powerful brand moments. You’ll plan and execute engaging events around festivals, milestones, and cultural dates that strengthen our employer brand while creating shareable content that showcases our vibrant workplace culture. 

What Makes This Role Unique?

Unlike traditional event management roles, you’ll report directly to leadership ensuring strategic alignment and orchestrate experiences across all divisions with dual focus on employee engagement and employer brand amplification. This is a role for someone who sees every celebration as an opportunity to strengthen culture internally while projecting our values externally through compelling social media presence. 

What You'll Do?

Event Strategy & Planning 

  • Develop comprehensive annual events calendar aligned with festivals, cultural dates, and company milestones 
  • Create detailed event concepts that balance employee engagement with employer branding objectives 
  • Plan events across UK, Nepal, and Mumbai offices ensuring cultural sensitivity and inclusivity 
  • Design experiences that generate authentic, shareable content for social media platforms 
  • Establish event themes, messaging, and visual identities that reinforce employer brand values 
  • Create event budgets, timelines, and resource allocation plans for leadership approval 

Event Execution & Management 

  • Lead end-to-end execution of company events from concept through post-event analysis 
  • Coordinate logistics including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and equipment setup 
  • Manage event day operations ensuring seamless execution and positive employee experience 
  • Oversee decoration, setup, and atmosphere creation that reflects event themes and brand identity 
  • Handle event registrations, communications, and participant engagement before, during, and after events 
  • Troubleshoot issues in real-time and adapt quickly to ensure event success 

Employer Brand Content Creation 

  • Collaborate with marketing team to capture high-quality photo and video content during events 
  • Coordinate with Creative Content Specialist to produce reels, stories, and posts showcasing events 
  • Ensure events are designed with “Instagrammable moments” and social media shareability in mind 
  • Create post-event content highlighting employee experiences, culture, and company values 
  • Develop employee testimonials and stories from events for recruitment and brand materials 
  • Maintain consistent employer brand messaging across all event communications and content 

Employee Engagement & Culture Building 

  • Design inclusive activities that encourage participation across departments and seniority levels 
  • Create opportunities for cross-team interaction, relationship building, and cultural celebration 
  • Recognize employee achievements and milestones through thoughtful celebration planning 
  • Gather employee feedback on events and continuously improve engagement strategies 
  • Foster sense of belonging and community through meaningful cultural celebrations 
  • Champion diversity and inclusion through culturally aware and respectful event programming 

Marketing & Social Media Collaboration 

  • Work closely with social media team to align event content with broader marketing campaigns 
  • Develop event promotion strategies that build anticipation and maximize participation 
  • Create pre-event teasers, live coverage, and post-event highlights for social channels 
  • Monitor social media engagement and sentiment around company events 
  • Track employer brand metrics and assess event impact on talent attraction and retention 
  • Coordinate with Digital Content Producer for professional event coverage when needed 

Requirements

Experience & Skills 

  • 1-2 years proven experience in event management, employer branding, or employee engagement roles 
  • Strong track record of planning and executing successful corporate events and celebrations 
  • Solid understanding of employer branding principles and social media best practices 
  • Experience creating events with content creation and social media visibility in mind 
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple events simultaneously 

Technical Requirements 

  • Proficiency in event management tools (Trello, Jira, Planner etc) 
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and content trends 
  • Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools for event materials 
  • Experience with budget management and vendor negotiations 
  • Understanding of photo and video content requirements for social media

  • Photography or videography skills for capturing event content 
  • Experience working with international or distributed teams 
  • Knowledge of cultural festivals and traditions across different regions 
  • Background in marketing, communications, or public relations 
  • Experience with employee engagement surveys and feedback analysis 
  • Understanding of HR metrics related to retention and workplace satisfaction 
  • Previous experience in tech industry or corporate event management 
  • Connections with local vendors, venues, and event service providers
