About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Full Stack WordPress Developer who can build, customize, and optimize WordPress solutions from the ground up. You’ll architect robust websites, develop custom themes and plugins, and ensure seamless performance across our growing digital ecosystem including the Qrius Training Institute platform.

What You'll Do?
WordPress Development & Architecture
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes from scratch using modern development practices
- Build custom plugins and extend WordPress functionality to meet specific business requirements
- Implement responsive, mobile-first designs that work seamlessly across all devices
- Optimize WordPress architecture for performance, security, and scalability
Front-End Development
- Write clean, maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript code
- Implement interactive features using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize front-end performance
- Create pixel-perfect implementations from design mockups and wireframes
Back-End Development
- Develop custom PHP solutions and integrate third-party APIs
- Design and optimize database structures for WordPress installations
- Implement custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom fields
- Build RESTful APIs and handle server-side logic efficiently
Website Management & Optimization
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites across Qniverse divisions
- Implement SEO best practices and optimize site speed and performance
- Ensure website security through regular updates, backups, and monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
Collaboration & Strategic Support
- Work with marketing and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support Qrius Training Institute website development and learning platform integration
- Provide technical guidance on WordPress capabilities and limitations
- Document code, processes, and technical specifications for knowledge sharing
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years proven experience in full stack WordPress development
- Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Proficiency with WordPress REST API and integration with external services
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
Technical Requirements
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery) and ACF Pro
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of modern development tools and workflows
- Understanding of web security best practices and WordPress hardening
- Experience optimizing WordPress performance and database queries
Personal Qualities
- Problem-solver who can architect solutions for complex requirements
- Detail-oriented with commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
- Self-directed with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive in staying current with WordPress ecosystem and web development trends
Bonus Points
- Experience with WooCommerce development and e-commerce solutions
- Knowledge of React, Vue.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- Experience with learning management systems (LearnDash, LifterLMS)
- DevOps experience (Docker, CI/CD, server management)
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with multilingual WordPress sites (WPML, Polylang)
