Senior QA Engineer
As a Senior Business Central QA Engineer at Qniverse, you will play a key role in defining and implementing our testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading the QA efforts for complex Business Central software projects.
What You'll Be Doing!
- Conduct thorough testing including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure the BC system meets specified requirements and quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data sets to achieve complete test coverage in BC Projects.
- Identify, record, and track software defects using DevOps, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed defect reports with steps to reproduce.
- Lead client demo sessions with accountability and ownership.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Estimate testing efforts, set testing milestones, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Investigate and implement innovative testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards to improve the overall QA process and product quality.
- Analyze risks and report it on time.
- Commit extra hours (if needed) on project basis [Overtime Pay is provided for such situations].
Great, if you have...
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Background.
- Background of Finance and/or Business systems, ERPs and/or CRMs.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience as a BC QA or a BC Developer.
- Excellent understanding of software test methodologies, best practices, and terminology.
- Strong desire to work in a quality focused environment, balancing multiple projects responsibilities concurrently with effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ability to implement standards for QA practices.
- Expertise in the test environment setup, including operating system, browsers, database, configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Mentorship skills and ability to lead small teams and projects.
- Hands on experience of working under tight deadlines and pressures.
Note: Candidates with experience in the BC/NAV functional modules like Sales and Receivables, Purchase and Payable, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Inventory Management are preferred.
