Senior QA Engineer
As a Senior QA Engineer at Qniverse, you will play a key role in defining and implementing our testing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading the QA efforts for complex software projects.
What You'll Be Doing!
- Conduct thorough testing including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing,
to ensure they meet the specified requirements and quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test data sets to achieve
complete test coverage. - Identify, record, and track software defects using DevOps, ensuring proper documentation and
timely resolution. - Collaborate with development teams to analyze and troubleshoot issues, providing detailed defect
reports with steps to reproduce. - Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to understand
project requirements and define comprehensive test strategies and plans. - Estimate testing efforts, set testing milestones, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Investigate and implement innovative testing methodologies, best practices, and industry
standards to improve the overall QA process and product quality. - Risk Analysis and reporting it on time.
- Able to lead the client demo sessions.
- Accountability, Ownership, Multitasking, are some of the interpersonal skills required.
- Able to commit extra hours if needed on a project basis.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an added advantage.
Great, if you have...
- Graduate in Computer Engineering or similar IT background or equivalent practical.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in related field.
- Excellent understanding of software test methodologies, best practices, and terminology.
- Proven experience utilizing both structured and exploratory testing techniques.
- Strong desire to work in a quality focused environment, balancing multiple projects responsibilities concurrently with effectiveness and efficiency.
- Able to implement standards for QA practices.
- Knowledge of database system.
- Working expertise in the test environment setup, including operating system, browsers, database, configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A team player with mentorship skills and ability to lead small teams and projects.
- Hands on experience of working under tight deadlines and pressures.
