Software QA Engineer

We are looking for Software QA Engineer experienced in financial services or payment industry with a strong understanding of SWIFT messaging standards and formats (MT messages, ISO 20022), and experienced with testing payment platforms and systems relevant to wholesale payments
What You'll Be Doing!
Participate in the project from the scoping phase to the implementation phase to ensure quality in deliverables/products.
Analyze and convert business requirements, user stories, and design documents to detailed test cases and test plans.
Identify bugs and performance issues by testing software at a functional and non-functional level.
To test the quality of products and provide updates to the stakeholder.
Regularly provide test reports of project status to the stakeholders.
Maintain QA procedures and policies.
Flexibility to work in staggered shifts based on client’s requirements.
Take up and deliver on any other responsibilities assigned by QA leads.
Involve in the implementation of organizational culture, policies, and processes.
Great, if you have...
- Expertise in SWIFT message formats like MT101, MT103, MT200, and others relevant to the company’s specific payment types.
- Ability to decode and analyze message content, including data fields, tags, and options.
- Working knowledge of common platforms and systems used for wholesale payments (e.g., SWIFT Alliance Access, correspondent banking systems).
- Understanding of message flow and interaction with the SWIFT network.
- Experience with manual and automated testing approaches.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools relevant to the company’s environment (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit).
- Proficient in using version control systems like Git for managing test scripts and documentation.
- Experience with testing APIs used in payment processing or integrations.
- Basic understanding of security testing principles and tools relevant to payments (e.g., penetration testing concepts).
